UVA Continuum Home Infusion pharmacy is an established home infusion pharmacy serving the patients of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The pharmacy provides therapies such as chemotherapy, antibiotics, TPNs, and specialty infusions serving both adult and pediatric populations. The pharmacy manager oversees the daily operation and clinical team members of the home infusion pharmacy in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as The Joint Commission, and area specific guidelines. This position offers project management, team leadership, collaboration with nursing and physicians across varies organizations, and innovative practice opportunities in the home care environment. This manager performs and monitors pharmacy services in compliance with state and federal laws including personnel and processes. This position reports to the Enterprise Director of Acute Care and Infusion for the UVA Department of pharmacy. UVA is seeking qualified applicants to add to the pharmacy administration team looking to lead teams in an expanding home infusion environment. Hours of operations for the pharmacy are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
