Position Summary

The Special Programs Administrator will split their time providing administrative support to the Office of University Human Resources ('UHR') and the Administrative Management Council ("AMC"). The UHR support responsibility will consist of full support for the UHR recognition program events. The AMC support responsibility will consist of analysis and organization of processes and communications for the AMC. Monitor expenditures; act as administrative liaison for the AMC with other University offices; interpret and apply University policies, practices, and procedures to address various administrative matters while partnering with the elected officers of the AMC.


Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience in administering programs or services, event management, and communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and project management skills. Excellent problem solving and people skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
