Scope

Lead Boise Cascade's BROSCO Operations in New England (Hatfield, MA, Portland, ME, and Andover, MA) including oversight of administrative, sales, product management and operations. This position requires travel.

This role demonstrates an ongoing commitment to customer service and ability to strengthen the Boise Cascade | BROSCO brand and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial performance including PROTC (pre-tax on total capital), PROWC (pre-tax on working capital), net income, sales, EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization) and investment level goals
  • Develop BROSCO's business plan, capital budget, and key budget.
  • Ensure locations' goals, objectives, operating processes and activities are aligned and consistent with Boise Cascade standards and objectives.
  • Lead and direct all functions to include safety, strategy, financial performance and people development and support across multiple locations.
  • Develop sales strategies to maximize penetration of assigned marketing area.
  • Manage operations to maximize productivity of labor, working capital, and facilities.
  • Develop and execute plans around sales, margins, expenses, investments and all operational aspects.
  • Ensure location operations comply with all federal, state, local laws, corporate and division policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate the ability to drive sales through strong leadership.
  • Support and contribute to Boise Cascade's growth, synergy, and scope of division and corporate priorities.
  • Drive process improvement through direction, coaching, support and implementation of best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Ability to travel. Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in Millwork product categories, including sales, product management, and production operations.

Preferred Qualifications: More than ten (10) years of experience in related job function. Multi-unit experience and broad scope of millwork production operations knowledge.
