This role is within the Value Digital/Customer Experience team where we create and improve digitally-led experiences for our customers, striving for reliable, simple, exceptional world-class journeys.

We are seeking a Lead Experience Designer to join our Shopping Journey team, where we are iteratively designing and developing best in class experiences for our customers. Join us to help set new standards in our category and make our customer shopping experience a reliable, simple, and exceptional experience.

What you'll be doing:
  • Interacting with business and IT partners on design goals, requirements, and implementation.

  • Exploring and evaluating user needs to build compelling design concepts and experiences.

  • Generating innovative ideas, solutions, and opportunities and finding ways to apply those ideas to enhance business results.

  • Investigating problem statements and creative intelligence to tackle complicated use cases.

  • Crafting solutions based on sound usability principles, research, and technical feasibility.

  • Conducting user testing to gain insights and understand needs.

  • Expressing solutions through design documents such as sitemaps, information architecture, user flows, storyboards, and wireframes.

  • Partnering with the broader design team on research and integrating findings into design through an iterative process.

  • Performing competitive audits and providing recommendations.

What we're looking for: You'll need to have:
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Cross-channel experience.

  • Experience in Invision, Sketch, and Adobe CC.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Master's degree with one or more years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of layout composition, typography, color, and interaction design principles.

  • Experience across consumer and business customer groups.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Where you'll be working

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $127,000.00 and $236,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
