The Senior Print Producer, provides print production services for Verizon's in-house agency. This role will provide management of the agency workflow for retail print projects including print specs, sizes, retouching direction and approvals on print ready files.

What you'll be doing:
  • Working with marketing, project management, the retail creative team, studio, retouching and proofreading to ensure quality, color and image consistency throughout Verizon's entire brand.

  • Being responsible for managing vendors in support of the production of these assets.

  • Being responsible for managing their own production budgets, delivering upon the strategy and vision of the creative directors and managing Producers/studio resources.

  • Managing print producers and studio resources.

  • Providing guidance on projects and reviewing final work produced to ensure it meets the standards established.

  • Helping the print producers resolve complex issues that may come up during the production process.

  • Managing and assigning incoming projects to print producers.

  • Managing multiple and complex projects while taking ownership of them.

  • Making decisions around key aspects of project deliverables, including managing stakeholder expectations around timelines and final product.

  • Managing client relationships and expectations on these and other projects.

  • Briefing project management regarding mechanical sizes needed, timing and schedule of project.

  • Briefing studio retoucher on retouching specs and direction for projects..

  • Maintaining brand guidelines for the in-house agency.

You'll need to have:
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Possesses expertise of production/printing techniques, skills, tools and procedures for the applicable media.

  • Expert working knowledge of CMYK and RGB workflows, file resolution/formats, printing, substrates and finishing techniques for retail, OOH and publications.

  • Expert knowledge/understanding of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, while managing urgent deadlines, shifting priorities, organizing and reporting a variety of production details.

  • Proven experience working within a team environment.

  • States opinions clearly and can verbally describe visual concepts.

  • Willingness to provides open and honest feedback to support team members to drive development and executional excellence.

  • Willingness to seek appropriate support from other team members to help develop assets for specific projects.

  • Possesses a keen eye for color and detail and is prideful and diligent in the final preparation of work including work in progress and final assets.

Where you'll be working

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $222,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
