Position Summary

The Rack physical chemistry
research group is seeking motivated Computer Science students to help develop
software tools that enhance scientific research. This is an exciting
opportunity for students who are passionate about software development and
looking to apply their skills in a meaningful way. You will collaborate with
researchers to design, implement, and maintain software that facilitates
experimentation and data analysis in cutting-edge chemistry research.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software to optimize data collection.
  • Develop software for data processing and visualization.
  • Work closely with chemists and physicists to understand
    research requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Assist in debugging, testing, and maintaining
    codebases.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, sharing ideas
    and contributing to ongoing projects.
