Fabrication Shop Manager

Underground Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Fabrication Shop Manager.

Underground Solutions, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure and electrical conduit market with a portfolio of proprietary and patented technologies targeting water and wastewater infrastructure improvement and undergrounding of electrical conduit.

• Responsible for Shop Management, Inventory and Managing a team of fabricators and welders for WEKO Seal product line

• Ensure the best efficiency timely completion and shipping of finished product

• Perform repairs and maintenance on fabrication equipment to include hydraulics, electrical, robotics, and other components

• Perform fabrication equipment evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test, and repair equipment

• Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical problems as needed

• Consistently deliver knowledge, advice, and answer questions and concerns

• Communicate and maintain good relations with vendors and customers

• Provide frequent progress reports in order to improve results

• Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws

• Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes

• Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• 3 years of Fabrication Shop Management experience including experience training, motivating and leading a team and collaborate effectively with coworkers

• 5 years of welding and fabrication experience

• Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical

• Proficient in the use of online systems and computer software

• Ability to read, analyze interpret, understand, and follow electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
