Percent Time: 100% 20% Recruit farmers and agricultural service providers for on-farm research, communicate with them regularly, and summarize and report individual results to farmers annually. Organize on-farm research summit every other year, inviting speakers and presenting summative data gathered from research. 20% Confer with other team personnel in drafting work schedules and plans for execution of the research. Assist with other projects as needed. Hire and oversee undergraduate researchers in collaboration with other team personnel if needed. 15% Prepare educational materials and presentations on team research projects, including written reports, web materials, videos, ArcGIS Storymaps, and PowerPoint presentations. Work with PI on publication of these materials. 10% Present research-based materials at events and conferences. 5% Discuss and plan new avenues of research and outreach funding. Assist in drafting proposals to procure funding. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Advanced degree with 1 or more years of research training in soil science, agronomy, agricultural engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline in the agricultural sciences. About the Department
