Operations Supervisor: Imperial County, CA We're hiring an Operations Supervisor that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency interface, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs, equipment, and supply maintenance, as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the Director of Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED, advanced education preferred.
- Current California State Paramedic Licensure, as well as all licenses and certifications required by AMR for the position of Paramedic to include a minimum of two (2) year's full-time employment as a Paramedic, one (1) of which are inclusive as an EMT with AMR or 3 years of supervisory experience considered.
- No written disciplinary action within the past six (6) months of employment.
- Skills and experience in evaluating, instructing, and coaching all aspects of the delivery of pre-hospital care
- Comprehensive understanding of the operations protocols policies and procedures.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Associate Supervisor experience preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direction and oversight to EMT's, Paramedics and other operational support staff as necessary.
- Maintain familiarity with and provide interpretation of operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure maintenance of quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation.
- Assess daily equipment, supply and vehicle needs. Coordinate service as necessary in conjunction with the appropriate internal department.
- Ensure operational compliance for internal and external partnerships and contracts.
- Respond to and resolve customer and staff inquiries and complaints in a consistent and timely fashion.
- Investigate abnormal operational, personnel, and customer service delivery concerns. events involving assigned units or staff, including the completion of internal reports, operational leadership notification, counseling, reinforcing policy, and recommending training as necessary to CES.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Maintain positive internal relationships with peers and other interfacing staff.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
