Finance Supervisor-Department of Plastic Surgery

Job Summary

Oversees day-to-day financial operations, processes expenditures, and supervises team. Serves as a primary contact for all matters related to finances. Assists with the development and monitoring of budgets. Prepares financial documentation, ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, and maintains databases. Supports the development and implementation of initiatives and changes.


Essential Functions

Oversees day-to-day financial operations; pays invoices, prepares projections, and processes expenditures. Supervises staff, which includes hiring, performance reviews, and documenting disciplinary actions and other human resource administration; manages work schedules and approves timecards; provides professional development opportunities; distributes and reviews work. Serves as a primary contact for all matters related to finances by providing support, answering inquiries, and resolving issues. Assists with the development and monitoring of budgets; reconciles budget levels and maintains a shadow system. Prepares and analyzes reports, transactions, payroll forms, and other financial documentation; ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintains accounts, records, and databases; creates and updates spreadsheets. Supports the development and implementation of initiatives and changes; makes recommendations related to improving operations.
