Be ready to bring a value to primary care that has become the desired for providers and patients. Integrating behavioral health services in a medical setting enhances the overall care of patients. It increases provider comfort with treating behavioral health and it increases access to services while reducing stigma.

This is an opportunity for a Behavioral Health Clinician with interest, training and/or experience integrating behavioral health services into pediatrics. This position will be supporting multipleMaineHealthPediatric practices within our southern region. Persons interested in this position must be comfortable working with kids of all ages (0-26). We seek someone who is flexible, strong communicator, and a strength in team integration.

This is a 20-hour position with benefits, primarily remote with some opportunity to be hybrid. The role would include providing screening, assessments, and brief focused treatment to patients of the practices. Treatment structure includes individual, family, and group work, meeting with patients in person and virtually through telehealth.

In addition to the clinical treatment, the clinician helps connect patients with additional resource, provides consultations and training to providers, and has the opportunity to participate in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people.

The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work, in addition to collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system. Individual supervision, psychiatry consultation, group supervision, and quarterly trainings are added benefits of this position.
