Tester Lead

Tester Lead

Job Purpose:

Performs all Testing functions required in a PCB Manufacturing environment. This position will require being the first point of contact to support department Management and /or during Management absence

Nature of Duties:

• Loads boards, runs test programs and sort boards by pass/fail status. Attaches machine printout of defect to failed boards.
• Receives boards from previous process and verifies that the count and type of boards match the accompanying batch card.
• Handle and process PCB's in strict accordance with established procedures
• Review and validate failed tags placed on boards by testers
• Visually inspect PCBs and reference schematics to identify circuit patterns and potential defects
• Accurately identify and label circuit defects
• Responsible for taking controlled impedance measurements and troubleshooting test system issues
• Maintains test logs and Monitors test results.
• Follows established SPC reaction plan for repetitive defects. Keeps all charts accurate and up to date.
• Maintain all required production logs and documentation

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of6years previous manufacturing experience
• Advanced knowledge of one or more Electrical Test machines
• Ability to perform internal rework on failed PCB's
• Experience troubleshooting and rework operations
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a team toward achieving goals is critical
• Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to statistical process control and production records
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders to create a collaborative and productive work environment
• Must be flexible to work overtime as business needs require

Salary Range (annual): $52000-$57408
