Impact Lives, Impact Community

Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is passionate about providing exceptional health care to all, especially underserved communities with limited health care options. Founded by a Latina grandmother/community advocate over 50 years ago in Barrio Logan, FHCSD has grown into one of the largest community health systems in the country. With over 90 sites, over 227,000 patients, and over 1.1 million healthcare visits last year, we provide a wide variety of health care and outreach services to a very diverse patient population. We are proud of our mission, our lasting community impact, and the cultural and individual diversity of our staff.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Manager for Infant and Early Childhood Services to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care to children during their most critical developmental years. This is a meaningful opportunity to shape the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of children from birth to age five.

Our team of licensed and license-eligible clinicians provides evidence-based, relationship-focused dyadic interventions that support both young children and their caregivers. As a member of our Pediatric Developmental Services Department, you will join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team offering a comprehensive range of services tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.

In addition to infant and early childhood mental health services, the department provides developmental screening and assessment, parent coaching, and specialized therapies, including occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy-to promote healthy development and address identified developmental concerns.

The Clinical Manager will oversee behavioral health services including programs funded by grants (e.g., Healthy Development Services) and those covered by insurance (e.g., Parent Early Childhood Support Services). This role is vital to ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and supporting program growth and sustainability.

As a key leader within the department, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for supervising clinical services, guiding operations (in partnership with administrative managers) and supporting staff, and maintaining a small caseload to provide direct care to pediatric patients. If you are a committed leader with deep expertise in infant mental health and early childhood development, we invite you to bring your passion and skills to a team devoted to helping children and families thrive.
