Process Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for process design, operation and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

Leadership: Communication Skills, Time management, proactiveness, people supervision experience

Processes: Cycle times, Line Balance, Labor distribution, PPAP, machine validation, Gage R&R, pFMEAs

Lean Approach: VSM, Kaizen, Waste Elimination, SMED, Visual Factory, Poke Jokes, 5S

Tools: AutoCAD, Office package (Excel, project, power point), process Simulation software

KPI'S knowledge: Downtime, labor efficiency, FPY, 4-Q methodology

Process Improvement projects: Savings, DMAIC projects, Hands on involvement

Experience: Process definition, CTO, DOF, One piece Flow, Fixture design, tooling Design, Supervision experience

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 4 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard for a quality management system (QMS)
• Working knowledge of 5S Lean Six Sigma practices
• Experience in executing process optimization including process engineering
• Excellent problem solver and ability to generate innovative solutions to broad range of issues
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to other functions in clear and understandable terms
• Ability to meet aggressive program deliverables.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel is a plus, including creating formulas, macros, and charting
• Experience in Agile and Oracle applications is a plus
• Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Organized and detail oriented
• Has willingness to learn, takes initiative and offers improvement ideas
