Summary: The Lot Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the used truck inventory and coordinating logistics related to truck movement. Responsibilities include conducting lot checks, moving vehicles, coordinating with transport companies, receiving inventory, completing appraisals, inputting data into inventory software, responding to salesmen requests, and operating lift trucks. This position requires basic computer skills, effective communication, multitasking abilities, and preferably a Class A or B CDL, or willingness to obtain one within six months.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Conduct periodic lot checks of used truck inventory and reconcile inventory reports.
  • Move tractors/trailers on the lot and to local sublet suppliers.
  • Coordinate with truck transport companies for receiving/pickups.
  • Receive used truck inventory and complete appraisals.
  • Input truck specifications from appraisals into inventory software.
  • Respond to salesmen requests for various needs.
  • Operate lift trucks to move disabled trucks.


Assist Maintenance Assistant Manager as follows:

* Finalize used truck detail phase with outside vendors, including, detail/clean, upholstery repair, tires, glass, etc.

* Coordinate drivers for special events as requested

* Fulfill requests from training center and recruiting (job fairs) for used trucks. Manager getting trucks to/from the training center, job fairs, etc.

* Follow-up with all Stoops locations as requested by Assistance Maintenance Manager to expedite recon process.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Above average computer skills for data entry.
  • Effective communication with internal/external customers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Class A or B CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months. Training and CDL fee reimbursed upon completion.
