Box Truck Driver

Driver II

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

* Complete Pre-Trip / Post trip Inspection check sheet for vehicle being used.

* Ensure Vehicle is kept clean and does not run low on Fuel.

* Drive to Local Fed Ex Station and Post Office every morning to pick up Packages / Mail.

* Scan in/out packages and deliver packages / Mail to all locations while on Outside delivery runs.

* Deliver any packages for the 202 North Dock as required throughout the day.

* Perform the 3:30 Final sweep daily and take any accountable' s to the Post office and get receipt.

* Ability to cross train in other areas such as Incoming and Outgoing mail and Package and process Shipping both Domestic and Int'l. and perform those duties when applicable.

* Help resolve customer concerns/issues

* Handle time-sensitive material

* Perform duties and special requests as assigned by the manager.

* Maintain accuracy of required reports, logs, and measurements

* Ensure adherence to business guidelines, safety & security procedures at all time.

Required Qualifications:

* Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a Drivers Physical.

* Must be able to Drive a Van and Box Truck.

* Ability to resolve customer concerns/issues

* Maintain Chain of Custody when delivering packages.

* Ability to resolve customer concerns/issues

* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and company personnel

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

* Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

* Strong organizational and administrative skills required

* Computer proficiency in email environments, MS Word/Excel

* Able to Lift up to 50 lbs.

* Able to maintain a safe work environment.

* Ability to adhere to company's policies and procedures as well as any site or DOT requirements.

Preferred Qualification:

* Prior Driving experience.

* Good people Skills

* Requires limited supervision and is self-motivated.

"The pay for this position is $15 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
