The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for a Director of Recruiting and Branding Strategy. This position is responsible for creating and implementing all aspects of the recruiting and branding efforts for a high-level Division I Women's Basketball program under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will assist the Women's Basketball program with carrying out the athletic department and team's mission statement to recruit and retain the best student-athletes. This includes building individual strategic plans for marketing and branding for potential and current student-athletes, developing relationships with influencers, and marketing and branding for the UVA Women's Basketball program for the purpose of recruiting and individual brand development. They will also be responsible for implementing and executing the marketing and correspondence which includes social media and all forms of creative content. They will also serve as the liaison to NIL, marketing, ticket sales, VAF, Cav Futures and Virginia Sports Properties departments. They are charged with working independently as well as collaboratively on projects designed to support the competitive success of the Basketball Program.
The successful Individual must possess excellent strategic and creative skills and demonstrate excellent customer service. Work must be done in a highly organized manner with a strong attention to detail.. Applicants must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Functions:

Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. About the Position: The salary range for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The selected candidate will pass a background check.
