About the Role

The On-site Transportation Manager (Execution or Delivery Manager) will interface and work in coordination and in synchronization with the on-site planning travel team and other key members to monitor safe, direct and efficient final transportation routes, in full execution. This program will be at the national level and will require U.S. air, ground and sea transportation expertise, most notably, ground and air. This position will only focus on the management of effective transportation while in execution, or in transit.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

    Responsible for overall management of transportation projects, at the national level, while in execution.
  • Works with the on-site team and travel experts to monitor weather which could impact roads and/or domestic air travel delays.
  • Communicates and/or reaches out to the various travel teams to ensure transportation is re-confirmed.
  • Adjusts all transportation modes in cases of inclement weather, major airline changes or cancellations, or other causes.
  • Applies quality assurance to ensure all transportation legs are accurate.
  • Utilizes technology to monitor movements of Teams.
  • Ability to work an assigned shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of transportation planning of goods, services and human capital
  • Associates degree in relevant field
  • Experience working with U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) or Office or Refugee and Resettlement (ORR)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • HSPD-12 PIV Credential Tier 1
  • National Agency Check and Inquiries-NACI Clearance
  • Ability to pass a drug test; will be subject to random drug testing throughout employment
