Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Employee Experience and Culture - you're at the heart of our business, as an advocate for our people. With more than 26,000 Rockwell Automation employees around the world, you will have the opportunity to work with anyone and everyone - from business leaders to employees in every location around the world to drive meaningful, positive change. This leader must plan, design, and implement measurement, action plans and programs to connect and simplify our employee experience and promote employee engagement. This requires building a broad network, well-developed communications, project management, and research and development skills.

You will report to the Vice President Talent and be based in Milwaukee, WI.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Program managing our employee engagement team through our global culture council.
  • Leading our employee listening strategy and to optimize our communication processes across the organization.
  • A leader for our strategy that impacts employee experience, including our onboarding experience, digital employee experience, engagement, and communications.
  • Partnering with the broader organization to develop and support our talent branding initiatives.
  • Monitors and synthesizes external trends and research to apply internally for impact.
  • A developer of employee experience dashboards to measure the impact of programs and moments within the employee lifecycle, and a leader of key engagement initiatives.
  • A manager and creator of high-quality content, across all internal digital and printed channels.
  • A people manager who also manages by influence across global teams and an organizer of people and resources to channel our focus and attention on what matters most.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 8+ years' experience in communications, marketing, human resources, research design, business administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience.
  • Prior experience in measurement and survey work.
  • People management experience.
  • Prior experience developing internal global or cross-functional programs.
  • Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, coordinate activities of other employees, partner in a collaborative way with clients and teammates.
  • Written and oral communications skills are critical and foundational to the role.
  • This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
