Position Summary The maintenance worker is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire facility including repairs and ensuring equipment is safe to always operate under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Essential Functions
PAY RATE: $20-$23.00/hr. Working Conditions Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Must be able to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Due to licensing requirements, all employees/candidates for employment must be fully vaccinated and have booster shot or accept booster shot within 15 days of eligibility, unless they have an official exemption approved by The Salvation Army. This position requires employee to be vaccinated and have a booster shot against Covid-19 or to provide an approved exemption request form. Employees with exemptions must be tested for COVID-19 on a weekly basis and must provide a written copy of their test results per compliance regulations. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
CPR and First Aid certification a must. (required)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the building maintenance field (required) Skills
