Description Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems in our Test Instrumentation & Lethal Mechanisms Portfolio which develops Fuzing Systems (Ignition Safety Devices for igniting rocket motors, Electronic Safe & Arm Devices for initiating warheads), Proximity Sensors, as well as telemetry systems for rocket, missile and unmanned aerial system applications. This highly impactful mission creates hardware that defends our War Fighters in numerous ways! These products are in current production in support of several weapons systems customers with increased production over the next several years. Primary Responsibilities This unique role will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex electronic hardware for defense applications. Additionally, this role includes support of our manufacturing team, throughout the lifecycle of each product. Projects will involve diverse technology areas, including analog and digital electronic design, payload integration, and system integration. Basic Qualifications BSEE degree plus 4 years of prior relevant experience including:
Must be a US citizen and a resident of Huntsville, Alabama,orbe willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area. Must be a US Citizen, possess (and be able to maintain) a final secret clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications
