LSSI is hiring full-time DSPs for the West Shady Oaks location in Home Glen. Responsible for assisting adults adults with developmental disabilities and providing care in all areas of daily living in a residential setting. Multiple Shifts Available: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm every other weekend 8:30 am-8:30 pm 3rd Shift 11:00 pm-8:30 am every other weekend 8:30 am-8:30 pm Benefits and Perks: *LSSI is growing! The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! EssentialFunctions: Assist clients with activities of daily living. Drive and escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. into the community. Safely complete client transfers per facility protocol. Performs various housekeeping tasks as assigned. Implement client individual habilitation plans. Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 18 years of age. DSP Certification, CPR First Aide preferred. Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position. Ability to read & write English adequately to complete required documentation. Ability to communicate adequately with clients, families, & co-workers. Valid Illinois driver's license.
