This Genomics Research Coordinator ( GRC) position has dual primary roles. The first is to coordinate cancer research sample intake and to work with research teams to track samples through processing at LCCC. The second is to provide administrative support for genomic data sharing by working with investigators and other staff to complete and submit paperwork for national databases. The position works independently and as part of a team of coordinators to support multiple projects at LCCC.

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Proficiency with MS Office.

Experience in clinical research or biospecimen storage and/or tracking experience in biospecimen management via Laboratory Information Management Systems ( LIMS). Experience in the use of tissue banking databases, LIMS databases or other similar management databases. Experience in a genomics laboratory. Experience with oncology data management. Experience in clinical research or biospecimen storage and/or tracking. Experience in genomics. Demonstrated skills in the use of electronic databases.
