About the Role:

The Investment Banking Experience Design team is seeking a Product Designer to join our small but passionate team. As a member of the Experience Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our flagship products. This role requires a blend of creative vision, leadership and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct user research to understand business goals and user needs, gaining insights that can inform design decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ideate, validate, and implement designs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Rapidly convert output from ideation sessions into mid/high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Adhere to the firm's design system while pushing the boundaries to innovate within established guidelines.
  • Craft clear, concise UX copy that is consistent across platforms and enhances user experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest UX trends and best practices.



Requirements:



  • 2-4 years of product design experience, preferably in enterprise software or financial services.
  • A portfolio of product design that demonstrates the ability to solve complex design problems and possesses a keen eye for typography, layout, and general design principles.
  • Proficient in Figma, especially in auto layout and component creation.
  • Fast learner who can quickly grasp domain knowledge and understand complex business workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale effectively, align with cross-functional partners, and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while valuing teamwork.
  • A self-starter who possesses intrinsic motivation to explore innovative ideas, challenge conventional approaches, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and learning.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better understand implementation constraints and enhance design feasibility.
  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies for measuring UX success and a proven track record of using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.
  • Passionate for metrics and analytics, with the ability to leverage data in designing solutions that drive user adoption and satisfaction.
