Lead Production Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lead Production Associate to join our manufacturing facility in Rocky Mount. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards, and lead a team of production associates while maintaining efficient workflow and safety protocols.

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of production associates to achieve operational excellence
• Monitor production processes and implement quality control procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize production scheduling
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Track and report key performance metrics
• Maintain production equipment and coordinate maintenance schedules
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities and quality records

• 3-5 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading production teams
• Proven track record of implementing efficient production processes and quality control measures
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and safety protocols
• Experience with production scheduling and workflow optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in production management systems and quality control tools
• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
