Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the mission in a Catholic and Lasallian higher education community.

-Teach courses in areas of documented expertise, as required by the program (Mental Health, CHT, Pediatrics)
-Maintain expertise by participating in scholarship (e.g., scholarship of application, scholarship of teaching and learning) as defined by ACOTE
-Participate in program evaluation
-Attend departmental meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other college meetings or events, as required.
-Foster an educational environment that is supportive of the Lasallian Mission.
-Act as a Preceptor for Level I Fieldwork
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director of the MSOT program.
Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate ( OTD, DrOT, EdD, PhD) from an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional accrediting body; minimum of three years documented clinical practice as an occupational therapist with a demonstrated knowledge of current occupational therapy practice; a current and valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation; superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills needed for working with diverse stakeholders on and off campus. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of Illinois and have initial NBCOT certification. Applicant should be proficient with computer technology and possess strong organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of teaching and/or curriculum development experience and effectiveness.
