DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager, Project Management Office will play a critical role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing analytical insights, project reporting, and data-driven decision support. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on project data, metrics, and performance indicators to drive successful project delivery, resource optimization, and strategic planning. The project manager will collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and leadership to support the successful execution of projects aligned with the university's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor project performance, resource allocation, and risk management- Analyze project data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement- Gather project data from various sources and ensure data accuracy and integrity- Track and analyze the health of the project portfolio, including financials, timelines, risks, and dependencies- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices- Support the implementation of process improvements and standardization efforts across the PMO- Document and maintain PMO processes, methodologies, and templates to ensure consistency and compliance- Act as a subject matter expert on project management tools and analytics, providing training and support to team members- Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and project success- Prepare and present analytical findings to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a clear and concise manner- Supports the establishment of an organizational project management strategy- Support the development of project plans and deliverables; support completion of project artifacts- Support development, documentation and maintenance of project schedules progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations- Measures project performance against cost, schedule, scope, and quality baselines while applying industry best practices and lessons learned- Performs other activities related to departmental duties as assigned or requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, information systems, or a related field and at least 3-5 years of experience in project management analytics, business intelligence, or a related role OR seven (7) years of related experience, education/training.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, power BI, tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, project planning and execution skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $69,500 - $123,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $33.29 - $59.15

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
