Residence Life Manager

Position Summary: Provide support in managing all aspects of the Residence Life program, with particular focus on the Beren residence halls. The appropriate candidate will work with the Directors of Housing, Resident Advisors, and other University offices as well as interface with undergraduate and graduate students.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Beren Housing program
  • Utilize StarRez to publish the Housing Application for each term as applicable, create new assignments, assess billing for students in housing, process room changes and cancellations, and other day-to-day tasks
  • Provide computer programming support for Beren Residence Life (including applications, check in, key and room assignments)
  • Meet with graduate and undergraduate students about concerns, such as room changes
  • Participate in the interview and selection process for Resident Advisors (RAs) on both Wilf and Beren campuses
  • Help plan and support execution of Housing events and programs
  • Help plan and facilitate move-in on all campuses
  • Advise and guide Resident Advisors on handling student situations
  • Work with Facilities Management, Plant Operations, and Housekeeping to follow up on relevant issues impacting residence life
  • Manage the residence life office including communications and emails
  • Other duties as assigned


Experience & Education Background:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Related experience required
  • An equivalent combination of education and prior related experience may also be considered


Skills & Competencies: Advanced Starrez experience
Salary Range: $64,350 - $65,000
