Job Summary:
The Division Administrator is accountable for the administrative functions, financial management, planning and operational affairs of the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology. The Division Administrator has all the duties and responsibilities of a senior financial manager and a business operations manager for the division. As the financial manager of the Division, the Division Administrator is accountable for all areas of the financial planning and management. Responsibilities: Oversees the administrative operations, financial management/planning, and operational affairs for an academic and/or clinical practice unit within a department. Develops and directs the long-range strategic business plans for the unit to ensure achievement of established goals and effective management of administrative operations. Manages many budgets and supervises staff.
