JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Dr. Yun Jing in the College of Engineering's Graduate Program in Acoustics is seeking a researcher who will provide expert services to support the successful completion of the research project titled " Development and demonstration of industrial IoT-based MSV mold quality automatic inspection and precision processing intelligence system." This position will focus on state-of-the-art of ultrasound cleaning technologies, e.g., megasonic cleaning system, ultrasound cleaning bath, ultrasound vibration resonance, etc.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the development and refinement of project plans and strategies;
  • Provide expert advice on experimental techniques, methodologies, and best practices;
  • Support data analysis and interpretation to ensure accurate and reliable results;
  • Facilitate communication between the project team and external stakeholders, including the project sponsor;
  • Review and advice regular progress reports and final project documentation.

Experience in physical acoustics, particularly underwater acoustics and high-intensity focused ultrasound, both experimentally and numerically, as well as their industrial applications required.
