DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Program Representative 1, your role will be to ensure the bureau maintains compliance with state and federal requirements, Department of Human Services policies and protocols, and effective management practices. You will also play an active role in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and systems to support the bureau's operations. Serving as a liaison between OCDEL's regional offices and department headquarters, you will provide technical support and monitor performance standards for the Bureau of Certification Services.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You are required to report to the Harrisburg office at least once a month and as otherwise directed by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the Forum Building in Harrisburg.
  • Travel: You must be willing to travel, including overnights. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
