The USC Student Services Contact Center is looking for a Student Services Advisor I. The position will work in the Contact Center assisting with all aspects of the admission process for undergraduate and graduate applicants, including assisting prospective and current students with financial aid processes. The selected candidate will be expected to counsel and/or provide undergraduate students with a range of services covering admissions, financial aid and advisement and coordinate delivery of services with appropriate university offices. The Student Services Advisor I is required to answer detailed financial questions via telephone, email and in person. The Student Services Contact Center has an annual demand greater than 280,000 calls. Lastly, the Student Services Advisor I evaluates student problems, academic, administrative or personal, and refers student to appropriate student services office for additional counseling, and liaises with other offices on behalf of students to facilitate problem resolution.

The hourly rate range for this position is $28.43 - $29.45 . When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
