Your job will include:
- Perform standard administrative duties (e.g., answering phones, scheduling meetings, etc.) and ensure that the office runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
- Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Organize and maintain filesandorder office supplies.
- Create and edit required documents, presentations, files, spreadsheets, databases and financial reports.
- Research and implement company-sponsored activities.
- Support receptionists and other administrative staff as needed.
- Recommend operational improvements to managers.
- Lead Dockhands and Forklift Operators in a Professional Manner
- Operate Machinery as needed
- Maintain Service Logs for Equipment and facilities
- Coordinate arriving and departing vessels both clerically and operationally
Experience & skills you'll need:
- High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ year of office experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, as well as the ability to perform word processing and data entry.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptionalorganizational andtime management skillsand the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as required.
