Description The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a part-time Behavioral Health Professional to join our Psychosis Clinic. Primary duties include: Overseeing postdoc fellows, interns, and practicum students Reviewing trainees progress notes and documentation Providing behaviorally oriented, supportive, individual and group interventions Plan, develop, and implement treatment and psychoeducational patients Providing crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention, treatment coordination, and consultation Other clinical duties as assigned Salary range: $34.24/hr - $74.19/hr Qualifications Master's degree or higher in a mental health related field (MSW, MFT, Ph.D. Psy,D) Valid CA License Knowledge of criteria for determining diagnosis (DSM 5) Training and experience with group, individual, supportive, behavioral, and family therapy Prior experience working with mentally ill patients and families Training and experience supervising psychology trainees Skills in administering Structured Diagnostic Interview for DSM Skill in preparing documents for patient applications for medical and social security Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, peers, and other mental health professionals and community groups
