Position Highlights:

  • Position: RN - Perioperative Services

  • Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL

  • Part time: Two 12-hour shifts/week (0.6 FTE)

  • Hours: Monday - Friday (days vary) 10:00am - 10:30pm, rotating on-call shifts (2-3 Saturday on-call shifts/year - 6am-2:30pm; no Sundays)

What you will need:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Preferred:

  • Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing

General Summary:

  • Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
