Description

The Senior Biomedical Technician provides repair, scheduled maintenance, and safety testing on medical equipment. Work assigned is advanced in difficulty requiring specialization and advanced training. The Senior Biomedical Technician provides a high level of technical support and training to clinical departments in area of expertise and assume responsibility for their operation. In addition, incumbent will be expected to work closely with clinical departments to assist in development of processes/procedures relative to clinical use of technologies in area of expertise. This position is expected to have the ability to multitask several projects. In addition, must be able to perform tasks outlined in Associate Biomedical Technician & Biomedical Technician.

Shift Details: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day Shift

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or
  • Coursework/Training: Applicable military training
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role and caregivers will be expected to comply with all state laws.
  • You may be asked to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance. See policy for additional information


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 8 years experience in repair of biomedical equipment
  • Upon hire: Biomedical Technician certification
