$10,000 Sign on Bonus for .80 fte or greater
UnityPoint at Home- Pediatrics is looking to hire full- and part-time pediatric home care nurses (RN) in the Quad Cities(IA), Des Moines, Waterloo, IA and surrounding areas. We have current needs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Home Care RN with UnityPoint at Home, you'll work one-on-one with children and their families to develop the care plan that is right for them. With full- and part-time openings, you have the flexibility to choose the schedule that best fits your life. Our pediatric nurses make it possible for patients to receive the care they need where they're most comfortable - in their homes

Ped Nurses provide skilled nursing care to pediatric-young adult patients with special health care needs for shifts of time in the patient's home. Perform prescribed activities directed under the patient's physician's care which may include; patient assessments, feedings, respiratory system management, medication administration, activities of daily living, and therapy programs. Assist in care coordination with care team. May be responsible for transportation of patient.


Qualifications
  • Graduate of State Board approved program for Registered Nurses and current license to practice nursing according to the state(s) where service is provided.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by state(s) requirement
  • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements.
  • Maintenance of an acceptable driving record (i.e., no "OWI" convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years). An unacceptable driving record may result in suspension, termination or transfer to another position not requiring the ability to drive.

The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
