Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in New York, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client, Advertising Sales (DAS), seeks a Data Steward Coordinator.
  • This role will be directly responsible for ensuring Customer and Ad Sales Data is as healthy, complete, and robust as possible.
  • They will work with their counterparts across the client Network to help establish and enforce business rules, define data quality metrics, assist with cross-system reconciliations, and participate in the remediation of data issues.
  • This role will be core to improving processes that ensure cross-system data harmonization and alignment with the Master Data Management (MDM) solution.
  • The Business Data Steward Coordinator will report to the Manager and Master Data Manager and help manage DAS's internal Sales data, including Sales Team structure, Sales Team-to-Account alignment, and Account mapping.
  • Understand Data Flows/Processes across internal systems.
  • Assist with system-to-system field mapping for future migrations and integrations and manage system data on Sales teams and Sales Team-to-Account Assignments.
  • Assist with data cleansing activities, including creation, mapping, updates, and de-duplication.
  • Identify and utilize public data sources to enrich our existing advertiser/agency customer data.
  • Assist in monitoring and profiling existing data sets to ensure business rule adherence and system feature adoption and suggest methods for improvements or additional training needed.
  • Work with Sales, Account Management, and Accounting to process order and proposal transfers.
  • Promptly record, troubleshoot, and resolve various support requests originating from SalesHub and integration with other sales systems directly from end users.
  • Escalating issues to technology and Credit teams was deemed appropriate.
  • Pursue enhanced efficiencies within sales processes and provide support.
  • Escalate issues to manager-related system enhancements and support requests and share with Sales and IT.
  • A professional demeanor will be used to work with all levels of client executives.
  • Willing to learn, well-rounded, adaptable to any situation, and able to multitask, collaborate, and work on many projects simultaneously.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $37.52 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in relational data and relational database concepts.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in creating spreadsheets, formulas, and macros.
  • Minimum 1 year of Data Analysis experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Excel & Power BI.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate complex data to various audiences, including business leaders, project teams, IT, and management.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate on solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outside-the-box thinker when creating/improving processes, systems, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, motivational, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the Media or Advertising industries.
  • Experience using Data Visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Good operational mindset with a passion for quality control and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Be receptive and have an analytical mind.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • There will be some overtime needed.
