RAPP Chicago is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our award-winning Program Management team.

YOUR ROLE:

Project Management at RAPP is a key capability that ensures that our accounts and the agency are continuously generating customer value through delivery excellence, operational efficiency and business growth.

As Sr. Project Manager you are the leader of client projects - you are the one who knows how to make things happen. You are the master of the execution and process from project initiation to delivery. You are passionate about the space, are creative and solutions oriented, and have exceptional people skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage multiple technology, infrastructure and data projects end to end, within scope, budget and schedule commitments.
  • Build and optimize project workflows and processes with a goal of continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.
  • Develop project schedules, milestones and dependencies using PM tools such as MS Project, Workfront or Smartsheet.
  • Integrate project management practices with agile delivery processes, oversee effective completion of epics, user stories and sprints, leveraging Jira.
  • Build project budgets and forecasts, proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks, and escalating when needed.
  • Collaborate with discipline leads, HR and finance to define project resource plan and ensure staffing is completed on time to meet project timelines.
  • Partner with operations, contracts and vendors to build SOWs, cost estimates, scope and deliverables and manage vendor performance to contractual commitments.
  • Establish and maintain project document management processes and collaboration tools such as Sharepoint, Teams and Confluence.
  • Co-author project SOW's, develop ROMs, impact assessments, project estimates, and project change requests. Ensure work is continuously aligned with all department leads and meet tight timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, effectively communicate status and proactively mitigate risks. Be comfortable adapting to changes throughout the project.
  • Understand business value of projects, continuously align team work to project priorities and value.
  • Build respectful, strong working relationships with client(s), external agency partners, vendors and internal teams across all agency disciplines and business support functions.
  • Develop understanding of account, agency and delivery processes and enforce adherence across project teams to them.
  • Build persuasive, executive level presentations to communicate project plans, progress, solution approach and risks.
  • Lead efficient meetings and conference calls. Ensures timely conference notes and action steps taken.
  • Mentor junior team members of the best practices of the agency and project management.


REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing medium-complex technology or data projects or programs
  • Project experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • CRM and 360 campaign management, i.e. digital, direct mail, video, radio, etc.
  • Technology and Analytics platform modernization and development
  • Cloud Transformation leveraging AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Implementing Data Driven Decision Workflows.
  • Marketing Technology solutions such as Pega CDH, Sales Force or similar.
  • Web technologies, including HTML, DHTML, Flash, XML, etc.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with track record of working with cross-functional and leadership teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methods, including Agile, Scrum and SaFE and ability to design and improve associated processes.
  • Expertise in MS office products (Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, Word) and project management tools, including MS Project, Workfront, Atlassian, Smartsheet or others
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining project documentation (SOWs, Project Schedules, Estimates, Budgets, Status Reports, RAID, Project Presentations)
  • Solutions-oriented and process-focused with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Must have strong written and presentation development skills.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and ability / desire to mentor junior PM talent.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
