Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Business Management group is seeking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Infrastructure Contract Specialist. You will work a 9/80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off. You will develop subcontract specifications, terms, and conditions for procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder's conferences and evaluate proposals for conformity to contract requirements, select or recommend successful bidders, negotiate subcontract provisions, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts. You will negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Help communication between laboratory and subcontractors to ensure fulfillment of contract terms. You will report to the Manager, Infrastructure Acquisitions. You will not have direct managerial responsibilities. Responsibilities Include:
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: EX2 level requires bachelor's and 2 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 1 year of experience. EX3 level requires bachelor's and 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience There is a strong preference for previous experience in acquisitions in a Federal environment. There is a strong preference for Contacts experience in a DOE M&O environment. Job Information: The pay range for this position is: Level EX2- Grade 420 ($54,876-$107,064)/ Level EX3-Grade 430 ($63,528-$130,284).
