IPG Photonics Corporation is seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer in Marlborough, MA with the following requirements: Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology or closely related field or foreign equivalent degree. 5 years of related experience.

Requirements

Required Skills: Plan, design, execute and analyze results of laboratory and clinical experiments and multi-center studies including preparation of PPT and clinical Video presentations for International Symposia; writing, reviewing and editing scientific articles for publication in peer reviewed journals; Design, develop and test medical invasive instruments and programmable optoelectronic devices using CAD systems (SolidWorks), laser beam distribution measurements, custom software for laser pulse shaping; Apply laser-tissue interaction to prepare and investigate biological tissue samples using multiple analytical methodologies and equipment using micro cryostats for histopathology samples preparation, LDH histology, optical profilometry measurements, SEM microscopy; Collaborate with Medical Scientists and Clinicians to develop and conduct clinical investigational programs. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required; must live within normal commuting distance of Marlborough, MA.
