Job Description The Apothecary has an opening for Retail Pharmacist - Per Diem position. The individual assures optimal drug therapy for the patients. Oversees the medication distribution system for their area of responsibility. Graduate from an accredited college of Pharmacy. Current PA Licensure. Retail pharmacy experience. MTM/CMR experience Current PA Licensed vaccinator is required. This position will be per diem Retail Pharmacist position at the Henry K Mohler Apothecary at TJUH. Candidate may also cover shifts at our other outpatient locations, including but not limited to Methodist Hospital, the Navy Yard, 1101 Market St. Pharmacy, and Project Home. Primary shift is 9:30am - 6pm, weekdays, 9am to 4 pm Saturdays, and may vary based on scheduling needs of each pharmacy location. Candidates should possess strong communication and clinical skills, including fielding telephone calls and offering face-to-face/telehealth counseling. Candidate will assist with the Concierge Pharmacy program and also offer MTM/CMR via online platforms where appropriate. Candidate will be responsible for directing technician staff where appropriate. Candidate will be responsible for utilizing point-of-sale technology when necessary. Candidate should have a strong background in inventory management and cost containment strategies.
