Pricing Analyst

To accelerate Pursuit's goal of becoming the most trusted solution provider to our Engine OEM and Defense Prime customers, the business has created a front-end position that will conduct analysis to inform and/or recommend major business decisions related to new and renewed commercial arrangements.

The Pricing Analyst will report to a Pursuit Commercial Director. Core job duties include:

  • Build financial models to assess the viability of new projects and partnerships, including revenue forecasts, cost analysis, and ROI projections.
  • Formulate and articulate pricing suggestions based on financial analysis, market analysis, business performance and pricing playbook standards.
  • Work in team setting to maintain pricing playbook, considering product type, product complexities, product end use and other variables.
  • Analyze contract performance and suggest areas for price capture where terms and/or scope has changed.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain call notes for discussion with various stakeholders on commercial conversations.
  • Archive materials on SharePoint site or other software systems.

Candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in sales operations or financial analysis; must have experience in creating financial models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and create business models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing contracts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with aerospace customer base and programs is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM/CPQ software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
