As the Regional Business Development Manager, you'll shape the future of our Raleigh operations, ensuring The Christman Company remains a trusted partner in the construction industry. Your ability to connect, collaborate, and lead will drive meaningful results for our clients and our team.

What You Will Do:

As Regional Business Development Manager, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:



  • Identify and pursue target markets, clients, and projects that align with our strategic goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and industry partners.
  • Serve as an ambassador for The Christman Company, representing us on boards, committees, and community events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to craft compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Stay attuned to industry trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to inform strategy and execution.
  • Support a culture of "seller-doer," engaging project teams in relationship-building activities.


What You Will Bring to the Team:



  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, with a preference for candidates with 7+ years in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry in the Raleigh-Durham market.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a must.
  • Mindset: A confident and consultative approach, with a collaborative spirit and a focus on delivering value to clients and partners.
