About This Role
The Assistant Director is part of a dynamic team in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering Academic Success Center. This position serves as a leader of student success in the college. This position will oversee daily operations of the Scholars Assisting Scholar (SAS) Peer Tutoring program as well as other programs related to student success across the college. This position is pivotal to creating a welcoming environment to students as over 1,000 unique students visit SAS tutoring each year. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Retention, Diversity, and Inclusion and is based on the Manhattan campus. Responsibilities include: - Recruit, train, and supervise student employees - Coordinate the Scholars Assisting Scholars Peer Tutoring Program - Identify, support, and connect at-promise students - Work closely with the Assistant Dean in data collection, reporting, and grant applications - Support the General Engineering program and the common first year experience About Us As one of the leading engineering programs in the country, our goal is to provide excellent undergraduate and graduate degree programs that will prepare students to become successful engineers in an increasingly diverse and interconnected workplace.
