Human Resources & Payroll Administrator - On-site (Delray Beach, FL)

Vaco is hiring an on-site Human Resources & Payroll Administrator in Delray Beach, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:

    • Process payroll, including verification of hours, sick/vacation time, and approvals.
    • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and related general ledger accounts.
    • Run and review payroll reports for management.
    • Handle payroll changes, including 401(k) updates, commissions, and withholdings.
  • HR Administration:

    • Oversee I-9 verifications, E-verify processes, and background checks (FCRA compliance).
    • Manage employee benefits and assist with enrollments.
    • Process new hire authorization (NHA) and payroll action change (PAC) forms in Paycom.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and scan documents.
  • Reporting:

    • Generate bi-weekly and weekly overtime reports for Finance leadership.
    • Send allocation split reports to accounting.
    • Monitor and report time punches outside of allocation.
  • Employee Support:

    • Train employees on Paycom self-service features.
    • Set up new users and assist with login issues.
    • Resolve payroll-related questions and issues in collaboration with Paycom.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Ensure compliance with DOL exempt/non-exempt regulations.
    • Support garnishments, unemployment claims, and VOEs.
    • Attend Paycom training modules and assist with special projects as needed.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Paycom experience required.
  • 3-6 years in payroll and human resources roles with high-volume payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with commission payrolls, benefits administration, and compliance procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and advanced data entry skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Membership in APA, SHRM, or similar organizations preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Some overtime or weekend work may be required.
  • Must possess superior attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
