Kitting & Operations Supervisor
- Leadership Experience:
- Previous experience in a shift manager or supervisory role (minimum 3 years).
- Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performance teams in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Operational Expertise:
- Strong understanding of assembly, inventory, and shipping operations.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools for process improvement and waste elimination.
- Ability to develop and execute daily work schedules to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Team Development:
- Skilled in hiring, training, and coaching team members to enhance performance and engagement.
- Experience creating training plans to ensure knowledge transfer and job rotation.
- Competence in conducting performance appraisals and feedback sessions.
- Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement:
- Proficiency in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to address production or quality issues.
- Ability to improve storage, kitting, and assembly processes for greater efficiency.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
- Capability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to meet production and distribution standards.
- Technical and Administrative Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency (spreadsheets, word processing) for data reporting and record-keeping.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to perform hands-on tasks when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and forklift experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Adaptable to varying work conditions, including temperature changes and moderate noise levels.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
