Responsibilities

The Senior Test Technician performs operational tests and determines product acceptability and quality on a wide variety of medium to complex electronic developmental and production components, subassemblies and stems. This position requires Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyze (VNA) experience, as well as RF tuning skill to the device level.

  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
  • Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams to ensure conformance, performing rework as required
  • Prepares technical reports, summarizes findings and recommends solutions to technical problems
  • Assists in selecting and setting-up specialized test equipment

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • HS Diploma or GED and minimum two (2) years' of experience in testing within a manufacturing environment
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

PREFERRED:

  • Associate's or Technical Certification strongly preferred
  • 4+ years' experience strongly preferred
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Working knowledge of electromagnetics
  • Experience in antenna technologies
  • Understanding Orbit F/R software
  • Work experience with a signal generator
  • Experience of tackling key technical problems or innovative designs independently
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Curiosity and sensitivity for science, technology and engineering are essential

Hourly Range: $29.47 - $36.41 hourly (Eatontown, NJ)

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
