If so, then we're looking for someone like you to join our team. We are seeking an Assistant Program Area Manager for our Weapons and Countermeasures Program Area (AT4). In this role, you will serve as a key senior leader in the Theater Defense (TD) Mission Area (MA) in the Air and Missile Defense Sector. Within this MA, we seek to develop and deliver innovative and effective solutions to defend forward-deployed United States and allied forces and interests from the increasing scope and scale of adversary threats across the globe. Here, you will assist the Weapons and Countermeasures Program Area Manager in leading development and execution of strategy and oversight of the Program Area portfolio while serving as the Assistant Group Supervisor for staff including program managers, technical leaders, and administrative staff. As the Assistant Program Area Manager for our Weapons and Countermeasures Program Area... You will serve as a member of the TDMA leadership team and assist the Weapons and Countermeasures PAM in leading and managing the program area portfolio. Within the AT4 program area, we address existing and emerging warfighting capability gaps for our assorted launch platforms and missions, leveraging applied research and technology to enable necessary solutions, and developing and deploying system capabilities. We work collaboratively with our industry and government partners to rapidly develop practical solutions and field next generation solutions to our surface Navy, Marine Corps and Army sponsors to ensure maritime dominance in forward, contested environments. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
