State Street Location-The State Street Orthopedic Injury Clinic at Salem Health is a fast-paced outpatient setting focused on providing efficient and high-quality care for patients with orthopedic injuries. The clinic operates with no weekends, nights, or surgery rotations, offering a balanced schedule for its team members while ensuring exceptional patient care in a streamlined environment. Your Role With Us:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team at State Street. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and professionalism while ensuring patient safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities:Diagnostic Imaging:Select and adjust radiation exposure factors based on body area, patient condition, and body habitus.Consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.Analyze examinations for completeness and adapt protocols to meet patient-specific needs.Documentation and Record Keeping:Accurately document patient history, including symptoms, onset, and duration.Retain and apply new imaging principles to ensure effective patient care and comprehensive records.Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.Perform routine cleaning and care of equipment, report malfunctions, and document issues for service.Systems Proficiency:Use the Radiant Radiology System, EPIC Hospital Information System, and PACS for imaging, scheduling, and documentation.Follow ALARA guidelines and department radiation safety protocols.Flexibility in Tasks:Assist with additional duties as assigned, including clerical work, patient communication, rooming, phlebotomy, running lab tests, medication administration, and more.Total Rewards Offerings: Salem Health's comprehensive benefits package prioritizes your mental and physical health, financial stability, family obligations and professional growth.Relocation assistance available for qualified positionsFull comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plansBasic and voluntary life insuranceShort and long-term disabilityLive Well Wellness ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(K) retirement plan with employer contributions.Generous paid time off (PTO) accrual and holiday pay Onsite fitness center with 24/7 badge accessEducation assistance programPublic service loan forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer https://studentaid.gov/Food and drink discounts in the cafeteriaImpressive discounts offered by Nike, Adidas, Carhartt and othersBackground/Expertise:Must have graduated from an accredited radiologic technology programMust have ARRT certification in radiography within 6 months of hireBasic Life Support required within 90 days of hireMust be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in RadiographyOne (1) year experience in x-ray, preferred Bilingual preferred (Spanish)Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
